Doctor Kent Clark
Attack Astronomer
Sergeant Sue Smith
Obsessive Multi-tasker
Doctor Svetlana Nazarova
Soap Opera Sorceress
In every universe John finds a cranky, socially awkward science-minded man to devote his life to -- in Limbo it's Kent Clark. Sometimes Kent takes mind-trips to outer space or closes himself off from the world, but John will always happily remind him how not to be an uncaring dick. John loves Sue, but she exasperates the hell out of him. Could be he's so fond of her because she's almost exactly like the sister he no longer remembers. Svetlana is John's battle buddy. She's held back from him and hurt him time and time again, but John just can't stay mad at her. It probably also helps that she's saved his life a few times.

Cissie King-Jones
Voice of Reason
Tim Drake
Rule Breaker
Marco Campbell
Headache Inducer
Cissie is the daughter John never had (and never thought to have either). He teaches her medicine and how to deal with annoying, emotionally stunted men. He likes to pretend he's fixing the mistakes made by her horrible mother, even though he's terrified he'll just make things worse. Tim was once the flatmate and goofy friend - a snarky battle buddy - but John has since realised that Tim's actually a kid with a gigantic amount of issues. John tries to look after him, but more often than not he ends up needing Tim more than Tim needs him. He continues to press on though, hoping one day he'll figure out this mentoring/parenting thing. In the beginning John wrote Marco off as just a dumb kid. Turns out Marco is just a dumb kid, but John likes him all the same. He frequently ends up banging his head against a wall after spending any extended time with Marco, but he can't help but be fond of him.

Miku Hinasaki
Tattooed Tragedy
Doctor Mariel Underlay
Administrative Wonder
Shura Kirigakure
Snark Queen
John is fond of Miku, finding her a very capable and incredibly thoughtful person. He thinks she's lonely though, and has been keeping an eye out for her since taking her on as a student. Mariel may be still be the new guy at the hospital, but John likes the cut of her jib. He's just going to ignore the fact that her husband looks like Kent...and that Svetlana and Sue seem to be wary of her. Shura is ridiculous and intimidating and John's never met anyone like her. He trusts her, though he doesn't know all that much about her. Shura once pretended to be John's girlfriend to confuse Marco. And it was hilarious.

Owen Burnett/Puck
Mischief Maker
Sebastian Moran
Muttonchops
Gerd Weisler
Jeepers Creeper
Puck likes to fuck with John. John, in turn, tolerates Puck and his antics. He can't reconcile the whole 'magic' thing, so he doesn't. It seems to be working for him, except for when he was turned into a cat that one time. Moran was Moriarty's best buddy. He also shot John in the leg, crippling him for a while, helped kidnap Cissie, and pushed Tim off a roof. John does not like Moran. He also doesn't know that Moran's the Bizarro World version of himself, but that's probably a good thing. He hates his face. Gerd is Kent's old flatmate. John's unsure of Gerd, liking him one minute and suspicious of him the next. Since Kent moved out he's grown to be begrudgingly fond of the creeper, though he still things there's something wrong with the guy.
